**Q: My senior skinny cat loves these, and I would love to give him more, but directions specifically say 1 a day. Why? He really needs extra calories.**
A: We divide the sticks in half and give 1/2 am and 1/2pm. Perhaps they recommend 1 a day due to the extra calories. You can always ask your vet but I imagine 2 a day would be ok. I say let your senior kitty live his best life and enjoy his sticks :)

**Q: Why would sheba put sugar in a treat for an obligate carnivore who should have no sugar ???**
A: We certainly wouldn't include any ingredients that are unsafe for our pets. Sugar naturally occurs in fats and fruits, which obligate carnivores can digest and regularly enjoy. Being an obligate carnivore doesn't mean they can't process sugars, it means they require nutrients only found in meats. In this case, the sugar content interacts with the yeast and meat ingredients to make the treat overall more tasty.

**Q: Are these completely grain free or just free from corn wheat and soy? One of our cats is very allergic to all grains**
A: My cat has severe grain allergies and she does perfectly fine with these sticks. She loves them so much she digs the empty wrappers out of the trash and leaves them all over the place.

We have 3 cats, all are finicky and only like certain foods. But these treats are the favorite! We now have a nightly ritual that the cats wait around for a few pieces each, before bed time. My male cat "Indy" will get on the table and sit and wait, staring at me until I feed him some of these treats. My other 2 cats, PeeWee and Nibbles, bot don't really like table food or any treats, other than these sticks. They all get excited, and run all over the place when it is time for these treats. So I guess I can say they really love them! They are easy to break, soft, and even have suggested tear marks on the stick for option size. It says you can give a whole stick, but the 3 little pigs would choke, I am sure. I would say give these a try, and they love the Chicken flavor. I routinely get a few boxes every few months now!
