I had been using a kicker passive LOC due to its high praise on YouTube for audio quality. Unfortunately for me it left me with an annoying alternator hum that I could not get rid no matter what I did and I spent weeks rerouting speaker and ground wires, returning & replacing loc's, returning and exchanging amp, buying multiple ground loop isolators. This LOC has a ISO ground option which they recommend to use when your head unit and your amplifier are not grounded to the same location. I wish they would advertise this feature as I think this would solve a lot of people's headaches trying to find a solution. Other than that I do have to mention that I had to return the first unit I received as it would not turn off even if a remote wire was not plugged in meaning there was some sort of internal short. The second unit I got worked flawlessly although I will say both units had their speaker terminal screws in super tight. I literally broke the screwdriver they provided trying to untighten them. Other than that it does what it's supposed to and I am extremely happy with the results. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very essential *by A***N on October 3, 2024* The media could not be loaded. Do yourself A favor and do not mess around with anything other than a true line output converter. I’ve looked into some serious high-end equipment and this is by far the best Bank for the buck is to hook up easy to dial in and adjust. There is a specialty tool that I used to be able to reach a few of the switches as the supplied flathead screwdriver would not reach into the slot to adjust a couple things however, a sharp pick will suffice. I highly recommend that you obtain a ferrule crimping solution for easy hook up and best quality. The unit is so lightweight that instead of screwing it to the chassis, which I recommend you do not do. I just used self adhesive Velcro and stuck into the carpet with all the wires going under the carpet. It is very secure and should never move.It’s been about a year since I first tried this companyβ€˜s amplifier and now recommend it as it is a up-and-coming company. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you have a new car 22-24 and up. Use this to grab the input Signal *by B***Y on September 24, 2024* This was the right piece to install in my new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe. We were able to grab the input signal and send out three input signals that you can then install into a EQ or straight to the amps or to a digital s sound processor. And it boosted the input signal to at least 5 volts or better.I took the inputs straight into a DSP and eliminated my old EQ.It also eliminated any feedback or background, humming noise or interference from the engine that normally comes off of the ground wire.
