I was able to lift the whole back end of my car up to do brakes with this, it worked well. I do recommend finding a long pipe or something to use as a handle so you can pump it without being under the car. The only small downside is when you reach the end of the larger piston and the smaller one begins to extend it gets harder to pump. It's not bad though. Maybe this is a good thing actually and it really is a 6 ton jack for the first half its range.
