Installation of the NIBBI PE28 was straightforward and took about 20 minutes start to finish. Fitment was excellent, everything lined up cleanly, and there were no surprises. After a quick idle adjustment and minor tuning, the Quad fired right up and settled into a smooth, steady idle. Throttle response is crisp and immediate, with no hesitation or flat spots. It pulls strong through the rev range and feels noticeably more responsive than it ever did with the stock Mikuni 22. I also opted to run the NIBBI air filter instead of the original stock air intake. That was absolutely the right call. The engine breathes better, revs cleaner, and feels more alive overall.
