I ordered one size larger and they fit very nicely, even with heavy socks on. The boots look like real leather and durable. I ordered theses boots to replace the one pair that I had for over 20 years. **Q: Is this men’s or women’s size?** A: Nieither. Child size. The calf is slim. **Q: what is the calf circumference of this boot?** A: Too small! You can't even get your foot into it! **Q: 1 Big Kids doesn't make sense. Our daughter wears Kid's size 4 or 4.5 which size should order?** A: You would order a size 4.5 in this boot as well. Unfortunately, it looks like they are currently out of that size. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Size on the small size *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 9 February 2021* Used size guide to confirm what size needed and ordered. When boots arrived they were at least a size to size and a half too small. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great rubber boots to ride in to save your good leather ones to show in *by on Reviewed in the United States 27 April 2025* The other reviews mentioned that they were small. I usually wear a 7.5 and that is what I bought. They are a little big. There was no adult smaller size I just added another pair of socks and they are perfect. My calf size is 13’ plenty of room there. I just found my heel slipping a little. The extra socks did the trick. They are very good to ride in . Nice and secure. My show boots needed a repair so got these to continue riding while waiting for the repair. The price was great and shipped very quick. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love them *by on Reviewed in the United States 27 March 2023* I’m usually a size 7(us) so I purchased the 7.5 and they fit perfectly. I’m about 5’2 and the boot hits just below my knee, so they are a bit high. the boots hit the back of my calves while walking down stairs. but something I can get over. These boots are so stylish and perfect for the current in between spring weather. I’m happy with my purchase ## Frequently Bought Together - HORZE Chester Unisex Adult Rubber Equestrian Horse Riding Boots for Women, Men - Willit Girls Horse Riding Pants Tights Kids Equestrian Breeches Knee-Patch Youth Schooling Tights Zipper Pockets - Ovation Deluxe Schooler Helmet --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/440332483-horze-chester-rubber-tall-boots-black-7-5](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/440332483-horze-chester-rubber-tall-boots-black-7-5) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
