Purchased titanium white, burnt sienna, ultramarine blue, alizarin crimson and yellow ochre to start replacing my student grade paints of another brand. I felt these selections to be the best value for trying out. I find the consistency to be exactly what I hope for, buttery with structure. The ultramarine blue was the only one that had a little excess oil when I squeeze it onto the palette. The others did not do that. Maybe UMB requires more oil to prevent oxidation (IDK). No offensive smell. Great pigment density. Love working with my new paint!

The brand of paint is amazing BUT the tube of paint has a hole in it and looked like it had been crushed multiple times. The packaging was fine which leads me to believe it was shipped out in this condition.
