At this 4" in diameter and 9" high, this real flame-effect candle isn't so small it disappears into the background, but not so big it dominates the room. It is turned on and off by a switch on the bottom, which also activates the timer. This style of flameless candle is capable of being operated by a remote. - Luminara Real-Flame Effect Pillar Candles are made with 100% pure paraffin wax, hand poured and carefully designed to look like traditional candles. They are safer to use than traditional candles, since no actual combustion or wax consumption happens. That means no soot or chemicals are released into the air, making them perfect for use indoors. They're perfect for households with small curious children and rambunctious pets. - The light color is a warm white encased in a yellow flame designed to be as realistic as possible. It automatically flickers when you turn the candle on, increasing the realism. - Each candle takes 2 D Batteries (purchase separately). When using the timer function, the candle will light up for 5 hours, and then automatically shut off for 19 hours. Candles can provide up to 1000 hours of runtime before needing to replace the batteries. With proper care, these flameless candles will provide years of lovely, safe illumination. - Candles come packaged in sturdy boxes to protect them during the shipping process. They also are easy to wrap without having to search for just the right shaped box. They make excellent presents for any occasion--Christmas, birthdays, Mother's Day, party hostess gifts, or even for yourself! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01M5G34F3 | | Additional Features | Moving Flame | | Base Diameter | 4 inches | | Base Material | Plastic | | Best Sellers Rank | #13,811 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #342 in Flameless Candles | | Brand Name | Luminara | | Bulb Base | Wedge | | Bulb Shape Size | A19 | | Color | Ivory | | Connectivity Protocol | Free control | | Connectivity Technology | IR | | Control Method | Remote | | Controller Type | Remote Control | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,912 Reviews | | Finish Type | Matte | | Finish Types | Matte | | Included Components | Bulb | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Installation Type | Freestanding | | Is Waterproof | False | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 4"D x 4"W x 9"H | | Item Weight | 0.88 kg | | Lamp Type | LED Candle | | Light Source Type | LED | | Lighting Method | Uplight | | Manufacturer | Luminara | | Material Type | Paraffin Wax | | Model Number | BHBM523W4065 | | Mounting Type | Tabletop | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Light Sources | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Product Dimensions | 4"D x 4"W x 9"H | | Recommended Uses For Product | Decoration | | Room Type | Bedroom, Dining Room, Kitchen, Living Room, Office | | Shade Color | Ivory | | Shade Material | wax | | Shape | Oval | | Specific Uses For Product | Ambient lighting, Table centerpiece, Mood setting, Task lighting, Decorative accent | | Style Name | Modern | | Switch Type | Toggle | | UPC | 812078021791 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Base Material:** Plastic - **Bulb Base:** Wedge - **Finish Type:** Matte - **Item Weight:** 0.88 Kilograms - **Product Dimensions:** 4"D x 4"W x 9"H ## Images ![Luminara Scalloped Edge Flameless LED Candle - Ivory 4" x 9" - Real Wax Pillar Battery Operated Moving Flame w/Timer Unscented 1000Hr Runtime - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41VhXsLY2NL.jpg) ![Luminara Scalloped Edge Flameless LED Candle - Ivory 4" x 9" - Real Wax Pillar Battery Operated Moving Flame w/Timer Unscented 1000Hr Runtime - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71FZ09a2inL.jpg) ![Luminara Scalloped Edge Flameless LED Candle - Ivory 4" x 9" - Real Wax Pillar Battery Operated Moving Flame w/Timer Unscented 1000Hr Runtime - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61YA0A+vbnL.jpg) ![Luminara Scalloped Edge Flameless LED Candle - Ivory 4" x 9" - Real Wax Pillar Battery Operated Moving Flame w/Timer Unscented 1000Hr Runtime - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71vtuv7oo9L.jpg) ![Luminara Scalloped Edge Flameless LED Candle - Ivory 4" x 9" - Real Wax Pillar Battery Operated Moving Flame w/Timer Unscented 1000Hr Runtime - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Vd0qXRK5L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/43837158-luminara-scalloped-edge-flameless-led-candle-ivory-4-x-9](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/43837158-luminara-scalloped-edge-flameless-led-candle-ivory-4-x-9) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
