Review: This works fairly well as a replacement for Zanex if you are just off of it or on a low dose. - Afters years of taking Zanex I managed to reduce my dose to the point I was no longer taking it. I reviewed all the herbal options in the event I felt I needed something and all of them had side effects with the exception of Passion Flower. On rare occasions I did feel I needed something. Two droppers fills of this work fairly well. I did find on one occasion where the need was more I took 2 dropper fills and then 2 more 2 hours later which did work well. Its worth a trying in my opinion.

Afters years of taking Zanex I managed to reduce my dose to the point I was no longer taking it. I reviewed all the herbal options in the event I felt I needed something and all of them had side effects with the exception of Passion Flower. On rare occasions I did feel I needed something. Two droppers fills of this work fairly well. I did find on one occasion where the need was more I took 2 dropper fills and then 2 more 2 hours later which did work well. Its worth a trying in my opinion.

Wow, this actually works! I have generalized anxiety disorder and decided to try passionflower after having one too many bad experiences with pharmaceuticals. (I used to take ativan, but my psychiatrist did not properly explain to 19-year-old me that when he said to take the medication "as-needed" that he meant it wasn't suitable for daily, long-term use. Within a couple of months, I was very dependent on the ativan, and it had built up in my system to the point that I couldn't sit down for more than five minutes without falling asleep.) Now I take 15 drops of passionflower on my tongue 1-3 times a day and it takes the anxious edge off without any of the weird side effects. It also started working immediately. Not sure if it's ok to use long-term or not, so I'll just have to be careful!
