I own 10 different knives from the Tac-Force line now. I have found that they are very decent quality knives and at the average price they are a tremendous value. Before I received this one I preferred the ones with wooden handles because of their look and feel which is smooth and beautiful. Either way, as a collector I always look for quality additions to the collection. This one however, is exceptional. It matches my ATACS-FG camo perfectly. It is noticeably lighter than the wooden-handled blades in this line. As usual, when I receive a knife I activate the spring blade several hundred times to get to know the knife and it's characteristics and it's dependability. After several hundred flawless activations the blade is still tight, no wobble at all. And btw it arrived sharp as s***. The serrated half of the blade is perhaps the sharpest serration I have ever encountered. While I usually prefer the slightly heavier wooden knives for EDC this one is definitely going in the BOB. It's light, sharp, and it opens with a loud and intimidating click. I would highly recommend this knife for anyone looking for a good blade to use or to add to your collection. Good job. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great knife, a lesson on stunning contradictions... *by M***K on Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2016* I bought this knife for hiking. I got it for $6.99 here on Amazon and I'm amazed at the value. It's an incredible knife because it's really a study in stunning contradictions. It's a beefy knife with a 3 1/2 inch blade but weighs only 127 grams. By comparison, my Gerber Crucial Multitool (2 1/2 inch blade) weighs 150 grams and my Fire Talon Multitool (3 inch blade) weighs 274 grams (See the photo.). The knife feels light in my hand yet solid and substantial, with absolutely no blade play whatsoever. It deploys very quickly and locks tightly into place, yet releases with ease, making it a great one-handed knife. The nylon fiber handle feels smooth and yet grips amazingly well. There is generous jimping to keep my hand from slipping too. It's a really good-looking knife and designed to conform to my hand, making it both beautiful and practical. It came out of the box very sharp, with great serrations on the blade that aren't too dangerous to touch. The clip is tight but allows the knife to slip into my jeans pocket with ease. It's a good wilderness knife while also being a great EDC knife. There are a couple things I noted that aren't a big deal to me but I wanted to mention. It's not as easy to open the blade with the thumb studs but this seems to be loosening up with use. Also, the way the pocket clip is designed, the knife sicks out a little more than some other knives, making it somewhat less discreet for everyday carry. The clip can't be moved, which makes this a right-handed knife, but I'm right-handed so that's fine with me. I had originally planned to buy a more expensive knife, but I'm glad I decided to go cheap because this knife is worth so much more than the incredibly low price I paid. I plan to use it backpacking, where I have less need for a multitool (I have a mini one for that anyway), and while it may not be some huge, fixed-blade bushcraft knife, it's big enough and solid enough to take care of whatever I'll need it for out on the trail. You can't go wrong with this knife. I highly recommend it and am so glad I purchased it. Were I more of a knife guy I'd have grabbed a few more (They have lots of camo styles!) but this knife is so great, I think one will do just fine! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good for the price. *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2016* I have many different knifes and carry them with me regularly. I have purchased many TAC Force knifes and the brand as a hole does seem to be pretty decent at making knifes and pretty great at keeping them at a low price.This knife in particular does follow suit. The knife isn't small by any means. As the description says, it has a stainless steal blade with a nylon fiber handle. The knife isn't too heavy. Weight wise I think it feels nice in the hands, but I'm not too crazy about the nylon fiber handle.The knife is assisted open, so it does open quick and easy; however, compared to other TAC Force and assisted open knifes I have, this one does seem a bit slow.Personally, when I carry knifes I like to clip them to my pocket to provide quick access, but I don't like them to stick out so far that they are too noticeable.
