Can they be trimmed? I am trying to fit these in a narrow pair of work shoes size 6 in womens.** A: They are about 2 1/4". They are soft and flexible so they should fit in any size shoe. I don't think they should be trimmed though. The problem I have is that they don't stay in place in most of my shoes. ( I wear an 8 1/2.) Maybe they will fit more snug in a smaller shoe. **Q: this product is ok for Bone Spur ?** A: I have been using these heel cushions to relieve the plantar fasciitis pain I get when running and while I'm not sure that they would completely eliminate the pain from a bone spur, I do believe these heel cups would provide some comforting effects. I found the non-slip solution; wear a thicker sock. These insoles allowed me to walk comfortably for over 9 hours. They do absorb the shock pretty well. I wore them in boots with 3.25 inch heels and I felt no back pain, no hip pain & no plantar fasciitis pain. These are expensive for what you get, I would t be able to afford them often & I need far more than one pair-so take that into consideration.
