These running insoles have high and firm arch support and more adequate for heavier set people who may even have an issue with plantar fasciitis. Buy them and you will be hooked too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable, supportive, but not for all workouts *by L***A on February 26, 2020* I have a love/hate relationship with these insoles. I bought these in an attempt to ease heel pain that was brought on by rigorous gym classes. I purchased the Dr. Scholl's "Sport" version previously and wasn't overly thrilled with them, so I decided to try the other insole in their active line. This version (Running) was way more comfortable from the get go. You can feel how much support they have all over, and they do seem to cause less heel pain post workout. Plus, they're really easy to cut-to-size and put in/take out of your shoes. Now, if you're going to be using these solely for running/walking, they're probably fine. However, if you're doing any kind of burpee or lunging motion, be prepared to slip out of your shoes. I've tried them in 2 different brands of shoes, and have this problem ONLY with these specific insoles. I'm not sure if it's because the arch is higher in these than the "sport" and factory insoles I'm comparing them to, but my feet stay planted in my shoes just fine with the other insoles. It's really disappointing because I do love these insoles overall, but now I have to keep switching them in/out of my shoes depending on what my workout is for the day.
