Review: Total garbage - This product is total garbage. The latches on the hooks don’t open/close properly, somehow resulting both missed stitches and knots simultaneously. The internal gears were skipping and misaligned even with no yarn on the device. The crank shaft is cheap plastic, so forcing past a knot resulted in the crank shaft snapping. Flimsier than a single strand of yarn. Terrible design, non functional, an complete waste of time and money.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Patience, there is a learning curve to the start

There is a learning curve for sure. You have to be very careful in the beginning to make sure your cord stays on the machine the correct way however once you figure it out it is a fast process. I'm using regular acrylic red heart yarn and having a blast making tie cords for my knit sweatpants. You do have to pull down sometimes on the cord to ensure the loops pull down enough to proceed with the knit process. The weight could be better, I've seen ones that you clip to the cord so you can control the tension better . Overall a decent product for the price, patience is key though.
