For example, the GEN5X2 would take roughly 22-hours to recharge a dead 110 amp-hour battery. For comparison, the GENPRO10X2 would be 11-hours. **Q: Do the charging cables unplug or can they be extended?** A: You can extend the leads but it’s important to make the cut in a location that only contains the 2 power conductors and avoid the 2 tiny temperature sensor wires. The charger bank will not work without the temp sensor feedback. Hint: avoid the black jacketed cable and cut where it’s obviously only two wires - near the inline fuses. **Q: Does this have an automatic feature? Will it shut off when fully charged and defect when low charge?** A: The GENIUS5X2 will charge the battery fully first, then once the battery is fully charged it will stop delivering any power to the battery and will just monitor it. If the charger detects the battery's voltage drop below resting level (typically 12.8V) it will kick back in and trickle charge it back to full. Then, once the battery is full again, the charger will stop applying a charge and will go back to monitoring, and so on and so forth for as long as you leave it connected to the battery. **Q: Do i need to have access to the buttons for this to work? can i just plug it and have it auto-charge? i have limited access where it will be mounted.** A: The appropriate charging mode for your battery must be selected using the Mode button.
