Did the gold fade a bit? Yes, but it’s a natural, gradual patina, not spotty or enough to be noticeable. It’s lightweight, classy looking, very durable and I wear it almost constantly, showering or swimming aside. The only catch- if you are doing something that causes a lot of motion or vibration, the magnet clasp can come loose (e.g., I take it off when using power tools, playing sports, certain rigorous workouts with a lot of arm movement or punches like kickboxing, etc.). But those situations are very reasonable exceptions. It would make more sense to use a band with a true clasp with holes during those moments to fully secure it. Otherwise, this is such a good value for what you get.
