Comes out of the tube easily, and works as soon as you use it. I use it about every other week, but for more or less sensitive teeth it can be used more often. Will definitely be ordering again when I run out. This stuff is a must have for my very sensitive teeth. I use prescription toothpaste too, but this makes my teeth much less sensitive when I use it regularly.
