I used to sit my notebook on the table and prop it up with whatever I had on hand. I saw this and decided to give it a try. It is wonderful. It held my Five-Star notebook perfectly. With the different settings for positions, it can sit nearly straight up or further down. Any way I use it, it works great. For the price, you can't go wrong. It's very durable and not flimsy. Would highly recommend it. Review: Efficient little book stand! - I needed a stand to hold my guitar chord books when I practice. I took a chance on this black metal stand and I'm really glad I did. It's approximately 8" wide by 9" high. It folds pretty flat to about a quarter of an inch where it folds so it's easily portable and storable in a drawer. It's lightweight but sturdy enough to manage holding my heavy 9" W X 12" H Beatles complete chord book. See photos. That song book is heavy and the stand holds it without issue. No matter what section of the book I'm working from it remains balanced. It seems to be well made; all edges are smooth. For the price, you can't really go wrong. It functions exactly as it should. The back bar has 6 slot options for the book leaning height and the front bar is adjustable to accommodate the width and hold the book in place. I'm truly happy with it. Hopefully I will get some longevity out of it. Time will tell but so far overall, I'm really pleased and I'd definitely purchase again. ## Features - 【Book Holder】 Book Holder to reduce head and neck strain Children can effectively correct bad reading posture. - 【Adjustable Book Holder】 Book Holder have six reading positions,The multiple notches on the backrest can adjust its height and angle.Adjust the height between the eyes and reading books or documents well - 【Book Stand for Reading】Length-8.3in, Width-6.3in There are 4 skid-proof pad glued at the bottom of the book display stand on kitchen top desktop countertop or other flat and smooth surface while holding without sliding off or falling down - 【Book Holder for Reading】The book holder is designed for keeping your hands-free when we are reading cookbook magazine painting papers documents text books sheet music catalogs notetablet or iPad. It's not quite 3" but I think it would work for that size book **Q: Will it hold a large kindle tablet?** A: Yes, and quite well. I use mine every day with my Kindle tablet, my phone, and my book. I really enjoy this product. **Q: Can the front clamp be set down to allow page turning without removing the book from the stand?** A: Maybe but then the book might slide off the stand without the front clamp. Or, if the book has a solid back binding, it may not remain open. **Q: Can it hold just 1 or 2 sheets of paper upright?** A: I holds as many sheets as you want to put on it. The front bar can be pressed up against sheets or books to hold them in place. I use the stand to read books. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this holder. *by S***N on June 27, 2026* Perfect! I have two! *by H***X on June 8, 2026* I really like this stand for the price I paid. Seems very sturdy and has a lot a room to put a book or even multiple books if needed. The paper holder on the front is very sturdy and will stay in place where you need it instead have to adjust all of the time. Sometimes I need to stack my book on top of pages I have resting there. I purchased two. One for my home and one for my desk at work. I use them to place my planners in so that I can see them through out the day without leaving a book just laid out on the counter or table. I would definitely recommend and purchase again. ## Frequently Bought Together - Metal Book Stand - Adjustable Book Holder for Reading (Full Black) - Rechargeable Book Light, Reading Lights for Books in Bed with 3 Color Temperatures & Stepless Dimming Brightness, 360°rotatable clip-on reading light with magnetic suction, suitable for Book Lovers --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/433970953-camelmother-metal-book-holder-adjustable-book-stand-for-reading](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/433970953-camelmother-metal-book-holder-adjustable-book-stand-for-reading) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
