Firstly these are quite small, smaller than I was expecting but perfect for my intended use. Yes, they do have some issues.... To clean them, it is vitally important to hold the ferrule & not the handle - the two WILL separate. I sussed this after the first brush broke but with care I got the brush to stay on after multiple cleaning (5+ times). On my 9th brush, some of the bristles came loose but only after painting & when running under the tap. If the head does comes off, then you've gained a new paint stirrer!
