## Overview

EasyFlex No-Dig Landscape Edging is a 40-foot, 1.5-inch tall black plastic garden border made from recycled materials. ## Description

EasyFlex No-Dig Landscape Edging with BONUS SPIKES is a durable and flexible landscaping solution to beautifully finish any gardening project. Designed for quick and easy installation, no digging is required to install the plastic edging kit, which contains everything needed to create a clean line between grass and landscaping, including MORE SPIKES than the amount in normal kits! Simply clear the area of loose dirt and debris, align the edging to your desired area, and use a rubber mallet to pound the anchoring stakes (included) into the ground. Since every project is different, EasyFlex garden edging is easy to cut to the length you need with garden shears. The traditional no-dig edging is flexible enough to create tight circles around trees and the patented No-Dig L-shape design eliminates damage from digging into tree and plant roots. The 1.5-inch-high recycled plastic edging is strong enough to withstand a string trimmer and retain pine needles, lava stone, river rock, cedar, plastic, wood mulch, and more. Kit contains (1) 40-foot coil of edging and (24) 8-inch spiral anchoring spikes, which can complete a 40 linear foot installation. EasyFlex No-Dig Landscape Edging is made of recycled materials in the USA.

Review: Much better than metal edging + gotcha's / tips & tricks - We installed this edging last spring around some fruit trees in order to stop grass and weeds from growing under the branches where it is hard to mow with a riding mower. On the positive: * Install was relatively easy (once you unwound the dang thing and got it laid out) although we did dig out the area first. * The edging keeps its shape well (with additional stakes) * It is easy to mow over and doesn't bend when you hit it (like the metal edging does) * The edging, when placed at appropriate height, is virtually invisible. We installed around the remainder of the trees this year. A few things to be aware of: (1) 30 stakes is not enough to maintain a nice curve. We found that 1 stake in every other hole worked well. (2) If you use to edge grass, you will likely still get a few runners that come up underneath since it is only 1.5" deep. We used an electric edger and pulled out any runners we saw in the fall and spring and it seems to be all that is needed. (3) Cutting the edging is difficult. Regular scissors won't do it and neither will garden sheers. We used sheet metal cutters and it was still difficult. Make absolutely sure you have your shape before you begin cutting! Installation tips (learned the hard way!): (1) To get a good curve, cut a piece of cardboard, 3-4ft long, with the curvature appropriate for the diameter of circle you want to create and use as a guide. (The edging is fairly stiff making it imprecise to work with and so using a string to measure and eyeballing for correction does not create a nice circle, no matter what your husband says!) Per above, use additional stakes to keep the shape. (2) Make sure the ground is as flat as possible where you place the edging. If the ground is not perfectly flat, don't push the stakes in too far or the edging will tilt. (3) If you are planning to mow over the edging, the best height for the outside of the edging is slightly below the height of your lawn when it is cut to the length you want. The non-lawn side should also have fill just slightly below the top edge. If the edging is too deep, the grass will grow over the top. If it is too shallow, the mower will hit it.
Review: Best Product So Far - This product was really easy to install and amazingly robust. This material is perfect for when you have to make a landscape edge that does not require more than a few inches. Ideal to work with and with very few tools you can have professional looking landscape edging. I am a small lady and I created several watering wells beyond the dripline of my citrus trees all by myself. Our drought tolerant landscape in the west proved a detriment to the surface roots of fruit bearing trees (imagine large sections of Arizona river rock mulch). We had to do something, so we decided to remove the rocks and make shallow water moats with leaf mulch underneath each tree. The drip system is already in place, so it took only an hour to do each tree due to having to remove the rock mulch, clear, and level the circumference under each tree. The actual install took less than 15 minutes. All I needed were garden snips to cut the pieces and a rubber mallet. I made the circumferences all the same, so I precut the circles and from that point forward all I needed to do was use the mallet. My daughter asked me how much the landscaper charged for the job and was surprised to find out that a 74 year old grandmother did it all by herself!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product
*by A***R on May 6, 2025*

Easy to install! Seems like a very sturdy and strong thick plastic. Makes great professional looking landscape lines and curves. One recommendation, buy the extra stakes, I saw this same recommendation in a review before I purchased, and I am glad I did. It does come with some stakes, but not enough if you really want to secure it o ground. That is the only reason for the 4 star as opposed to 5 stars, the added cost.
