I am MORE than happy with it thus far! At first, as this was my first big purchase in getting a bow for my medieval outfit for Halloween and then to make it a wall decor, I wasn't sure I chose right. It came secure in a box and undamaged. The tips were wrapped for additional protection. The bow was slightly compressed with a 550 paracord. It was extremely easy to open and string (thanks to youtube). I don't recommend dry firing a bow, but I've done a few quarter draws and it seems well made. I've fully drawn the bow and it has little chatter (creaking). I look forward to eventually hunting with it. I do recommend getting a forearm guard and thumb protector. It slapped me once and the 50lbs draw wears on your thumb. Going beyond this be difficult. The lower length (28") is what the draw weight is measured at. This is pretty standard for horse bows. If your draw length is higher, it'll stack (rapidly increase in draw weight), and if it's shorter, you won't hit the measured draw weight. Would give it 5 stars but be careful when stringing.
