Instead of buying women's slacks for twice the price and needing a more easily grabbed waist, I tried these. They're a little long, which is normal when buying men's pants for a woman, but they fit nicely, and I will shorten them after they're washed. Before being washed, the navy pair smelled of vinegar. The material doesn't feel like Jersey and doesn't sag like Jersey, a plus, but they are still light-weight sweatpants. Bought another pair in black, and the inseam is 1/2 shorter than the navy pair after washing, so if you shorten them, don't assume they're going to be the same.
