I purchased 2 of these blankets, and I keep them on the bed during summer as well as winter. I keep warm when the air conditioner is on in the summer, and so far I have been comfortable in the winter. I live in Texas so we don't have extreme winter weather (usually!), but I was quite comfortable when the temperature was 39 degrees outdoors and about 70 indoors.
