Review: No more turn on thump! - I got this to fix the sub's turn on thump after installing an aftermarket head unit in my ford expedition. 3 quick solder joints and it was good to go! A word of caution: if you get a cheap aftermarket head unit with very little documentation, don't throw out the factory harness until you install this. The new harness had different colored wires and some different pins populated/unpopulated. It was a nightmare digging up the ford documentation on the pinouts for those connectors and matching it up with the aftermarket harness to find the right wires to splice this into.
Review: Worked! No more pop. - Simple device to take care of my amp turn on popping noise. I soldered it to my aftermarket harness using the simple and clear instructions included. I zip ties it to the harness wire bundle and reinstalled everything behind my aftermarket stereo. Very happy that the pop is gone.

I read reviews before buying, some say it didn’t work. One guy complained about a manufacturer defect. I think most of the complaints about this item not working had to do with not wiring it correctly. Not hard, blue white on head unit plug to blue white on converter wire then connect ground wires, then blue red to the amp turn on plug which is blue white on the vehicle side. I soldered everything together my work is quality! No butt connectors!
