A: From our Klipsch experts at ListenUp: There are 2 sets of binding posts that come with the Klipsch RP-8000F II Speakers. One set for connecting the speakers as full - range speakers and a second set for connecting the RP-500SA II Dolby Atmos speakers.

**Q: These speakers only need to be connected with speaker wire to an AVR and there is no electric plug at all, right?**
A: That is correct, you just need speaker wire to connect to an AVR, no additional power needed.

**Q: What gauge speaker wire recomended ?**
A: I used 12 AWG stranded. Depending on how long the run is to your speakers 14, 18, 24 gage wire could make voltage drop an issue.
