**Q: should the magnets stick to each other to keep the clamps together in a gym bag? Mine don't, they are the same so the push away from each other.**
A: I don't think they are suppose to stick together. They are suppose to stick on metal racks or weights.

If you line the magnets up so that two of the same poles face each other, the magnets will push away. This is called repulsion. Opposite poles attract each other, but similar poles repel.

**Q: What's the width of this lock-jaw flex quick release aluminum barbell collar?**
A: 1.25" width

**Q: Are these suitable for long term use outdoors (uv/rust resistance) ?**
A: They are anodized aluminum, plastic, and rubber. I think the rubber and plastic clip would have difficulty being out in the weather. If stored outside but not in the weather I think they would be fine (not direct sun for longevity).

**Q: Does this work on axel (1.9 inch) bars?**
A: Lock-Jaw Flex is for 50mm / 2" bars only.  

(Lock-Jaw PRO 2 AXLE fits all 1.9" bar diameters)
