I found 1 tiny piece of blue fuzz inside one but otherwise I don't see anything else that isn't supposed to be there (had that happen before too, different brand, lots of random fuzzy trashy bits in the locs). I haven't washed these locs yet and they are stiff. Not as stiff as I've seen, but not as soft as I've seen either. Other than that they're perfect. The size is good, the length, the lack of odor, they're perfect.
