It is thick enough to prevent an accidental spill, but if a full drink is laying on it's side for too long, the liquid will seep through it. **Q: Is the mouth wide enough to work with an aeropress?** A: The double wall insulation makes the Iron Flask Tumbler sweat-free! It keeps your drink COLD for up to 20 hours, and HOT for up to 5 hours (depending on size). **Q: Is ironflask American made?** A: I don't see anything on the cup, or on their website, that states where the products are made. So probably China. **Q: Is there any give to the straw, like with rubber or softer plastic, or is it pretty rigid? Thx** A: It is pretty rigid but I only used it a few times. I have used the flask for mostly coffee and not to drink from the straw. Not sure how it will be after regular use. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for iced coffee *by on Reviewed in Canada 2 May 2025* Works well. Very durable. Two lids are a bonus. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drinking cup *by on Reviewed in Canada 25 September 2023* Very convenientLeak proof ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best tumbler ever *by on Reviewed in the United States 4 November 2022* This is the best tumbler I have every owned. It is extremley well designed. Even the darn straw is designed to be air tight going into the lid. You can put ice it at 9 pm, and the next day the ice is still there and the water is still ice cold. This cups thermal engineering puts others to shame. I own a Yeti, yes they are good, but this cup is even better. You can sit outside on a hot summer day with your ice lasting longer than the water, and no condensation build up at all. Its extremley durable and solid, able to withstand drops without a dent. ## Frequently Bought Together - IRON °FLASK Classic Tumbler 2.0-2 Lids (Straw/Flip), Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle, Double Walled, Drinking cup, Thermo Travel Mug - Cotton Candy, 24 Oz - IRON °FLASK Camping & Hiking Hydration Flask with 3 Lids - Stainless Steel, Double Walled & Vacuum Insulated Water Bottle - Leak Proof & BPA Free (Midnight Black, Straw - 22 oz) - IRON °FLASK Protective Silicone Boot for for Sports Water Bottles Accessories --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/419922333-traveler-modern-40-oz-tumbler-with-handle-and-simple-flip](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/419922333-traveler-modern-40-oz-tumbler-with-handle-and-simple-flip) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
