The install was fairly straight forward, but I had the following issues: 1. The wiring connectors aren't the same, so you must cut/splice to mate with the genset. 2. The mounting bracket is offset a little bit, so they tweak/bend a little bit, and put stress on the fuel line going up from the outlet port. This forces orientation for the hose clamp if you're using a screw/worm drive style clamp as the head of it must be facing a specific direction. 3. This doesn't come with the threaded/barb connector to go to the line into the carb, but that's easy enough to swap over from the failed unit.Once installed, the generator still wouldn't start so I started troubleshooting steps. First was priming and listening. I wasn't sure if it was simply so quiet I didn't hear anything, so I pulled the fuel outlet. With pressing the prime button, still nothing. Next was to check voltage at the connector, and I would get 12V when priming. Next was to see if I could get a probe near the other side of the wires to test my splices, and the wires simply pulled out of the motor. There was nearly no evidence of solder on them as if they were barely connected to the pump motor itself.Returned and bought a genuine Cummins/Onan part (which is no longer A029F887, the updated part number is A064S965). ### ⭐⭐ Not an exact fit *by J***W on Reviewed in the United States on 25 September 2021* Ordered to replace a failing Pump on my Gold Marquis 5500. First, the mounting holes don't line up, You need to grind down the edges before it will fit. Second, the power wires are about an 1" too short...... Story of my life....
