Review: Great beginner cut throat razor - I had previously used a double edge safety razor, and whilst I enjoyed shaving with it I wanted more control over the "aggressiveness" of my shave without it being dependent on the razor. So I picked up this razor as my first cut throat razor as I didn't want the hassle of sharpening a blade - plus, I already had blades to be used. I was already impressed with what I had got for the price; a neat travel pouch and a seemingly good quality razor. Putting the blade in the razor was relatively easy, as you can see in the video - though it took me a few attempts at first to make sure the blade was level. After a few shaves, I already feel I have a reasonably good technique but I think previously using a safety razor and already knowing my hair growth patterns helped. The blade seems to stay in just fine, and the quality of the razor as a whole seems good - especially for the price.
