It doesnt take much -- a thin layer is sufficient -- so that little tube tube lasts a good while. The cream melts into an oil, spreads thin, helps seal moisture in to speed healing without blocking nutrients from getting to the skin, and gives IMMEDIATE relief from the itching and burning. I wish I had come back to my natural roots and discovered this sooner in that ordeal ratger than spending hundreds on products that did little or nothing.
