Surprised that it was so easy to put together (all you need is a Phillips driver) and felt sturdy once assembled. Review: Great Floor Stand At a Reasonable Price - This stand was perfect for us. We have a Zen countertop water filter. It was not convenient to have it on the counter, but I really need the high alkaline water. This stand was the answer for us. You have to remove the countertop base for it to fit, but that base is just a plastic ring to keep the spigot high enough to get a glass under it and to keep the spigot above the countertop. This is not needed on this base and it fits and works great without it. Make sure that you figure out how all the pieces fit together before gluing or screwing it together or you will have to take some of it back apart. It only works with the cross bars the right way on top and bottom. It wasn't that hard, but the directions are minimal so just figure it out first. We are happy with this purchase. It was a fair price for this item. Many competitors are much more expensive.
