I like that it is small enough that I can prepare/spice my fish inside with the rack on a plate, and then carry it out to the grill. No mess, and super easy. Also, my grill lid shuts fully since it doesn't have handle sticking out, and it takes up way less grill area. The very best part, it goes in the dishwasher - so no more trying to clean my long-armed old fish basket in the sink with a brillo pad and making a mess. I did stretch the coils slightly by hand to make a bit more room for the filets since it held them too tight the first time I used it. It was really easy to do. Now it holds them great and they don't get stuck around the coils at all. Sweet! I will be buying another as a gift from my Father in law.

BUY IT!! It holds two of the Costco vacuum packed salmon/Mahi Mahi filets perfectly! I like that it is small enough that I can prepare/spice my fish inside with the rack on a plate, and then carry it out to the grill. No mess, and super easy. Also, my grill lid shuts fully since it doesn't have handle sticking out, and it takes up way less grill area. The very best part, it goes in the dishwasher - so no more trying to clean my long-armed old fish basket in the sink with a brillo pad and making a mess. I did stretch the coils slightly by hand to make a bit more room for the filets since it held them too tight the first time I used it. It was really easy to do.
