My son was attacked by a pitbull and had many wounds we hand to cover and wrap, these pads are perfect for putting between the wound and gauze pad or wrapping so they don't stick to the wounds. Plus they already have triple antibiotic ointment on them, which helps heal faster and will help decrease scarring.
