My regular shredder does a good job but sometimes struggles a little bit with my unsolicited mail.This shredder arrived in a huge, heavy box and felt a bit intimidating. Opening the box and getting the shredder out of it was a bit of a chore. I didn't want to pick it up so I used four furniture sliders and moved it with ease to the site I had reserved for it. I am so glad to have those sliders!!Then it was time for the test. First came the 6 pages that the shredder devoured with ease. From there we proceeded to the automatic function. I inserted 47 identical sheets, opened the shredder and let it do its job.It passed the test with outstanding marks. What's more, it shredded the 47 sheets fast and silently. This is the first time I have used a shredder that isn't noisy.Though casters help move heavy shredders, I am glad this one doesn't have them.
