Delivered fresh, and fast. ## Features - Hand-Selected Timothy Hay - We hand-pack each box in small batches to ensure only the highest quality 100% US-grown 2nd cut Timothy hay arrives at your door. 2nd cut Timothy hay is a perfect balance of stem, seed head , and leaf to provide the rough fiber needed for normal wear to healthy teeth and yummy features with a fresh smell to keep them coming back for more. - Earth-Friendly Packaging - As small animal owners, we know the importance of packing delicious snacks in safe ways for our small animal companions. No compression packing here that damages stem and leaf integrity, each package is shipped in a high-strength corrugated box for easy storage (and fun digging!). - Minimally Handled & Delivered Fresh - Make it easy to provide exactly what your little friend needs with regular shipments of fresh from the farm hay to wear down growing teeth and protect digestive health. Each delivery of premium Timothy hay for rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas includes a great mix of protein, fiber and fat to keep them healthy. Your small pet may not thank you with words, but happy oinks and binkies will make you feel like the pet owner of the year. - Great for Bedding - In addition to being a crucial part of many small pet diets, Timothy hay also makes cozy bedding for hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, ferrets and more. Since most of us aren’t up for doing laundry with tiny duvets, hay makes a wonderful, fresh smelling alternative that they will love to snuggle into. - 100% Satisfaction Guarantee! - For you and your pets. We know pets can be picky. If your bunny (or piggy or chinny) stomps and turns up her nose, you can still rest easy. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00ID70IEU | | Additional Features | Gold Standard for Healthy Small Animals | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Allergen Information | Buckwheat Free | | Animal Food Diet Type | Plant-Based | | Animal Food Ingredient Claim | No Added Antibiotics | | Animal Food Nutrient Content Claim | Low Fat | | Best Sellers Rank | #45,569 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #317 in Small Animal Food | | Brand Name | Small Pet Select | | Breed Recommendation | Rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, degus, tortoises, and others. | | Container Type | Carton | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (3,239) | | Dog Breed Size | Small | | Flavor | Timothy Hay | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00726670408990 | | Included Components | Timothy Hay | | Item Form | hay | | Item Type Name | TIMOTHYHAY-010 | | Item Weight | 10 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Small Pet Select | | Manufacturer Part Number | TIMOTHYHAY-010 | | Model Number | 2ndCutTimothy | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Package Size Name | 10lb | | Pet Type | Small Animal | | Product Benefits | Guarantee for 100% satisfaction if the animal does not like it | | Recommended Uses For Product | Pet food, Bedding | | Special Ingredients | Hay | | Specific Uses For Product | Teeth | | Target Species | Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas, Degus, Tortoises | | UPC | 799457478295 850059056288 726670408990 | | Unit Count | 4536 Grams | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Brand:** Small Pet Select - **Flavour:** Timothy Hay - **Item form:** hay - **Specific uses for product:** Teeth ## Images ![Small Pet Select 2nd Cutting Timothy Hay Pet Food, 10-Pound - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81rj4K7DsJL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Small Pet Select 2nd Cutting Perfect Blend Timothy Hay Pet Food for Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas and Other Small Animals, Premium Natural Hay Grown in The US, 10 LB - Oxbow Essentials Rabbit Food, Adult, Made with Oxbow Timothy Hay for Rabbit, Pet Pellets with Vitamins & Minerals, Small Animal Pet Products, Bunny Food, Made in USA, High Fiber, 10 lb. bag - Oxbow Animal Health Simple Rewards Apple Banana Treats, Timothy Hay Guinea Pig & Bunny Treats, Pet Snack, Made with Oxbow Guinea Pig Hay, Made in USA, Timothy for Rabbit, 3 oz Bag --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/410047704-small-pet-select-2nd-cutting-timothy-hay-pet-food-10](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/410047704-small-pet-select-2nd-cutting-timothy-hay-pet-food-10) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
