I thought it was a topper, but the calories make it enough for at least one of the meals of the day! (Woops for when I mixed it with a third of can of food that one time lol). It’s minced but still has a little bit of shredded meat, which my kitten is not a fan of but he eats it like so in this way! I can feed it to him by itself with a side of kibble, or mix in other toppers too! It’s also a great way to get your cat to eat other wet foods that they’re either slow on finishing or just not a fan of, and extra cans you bought of food they haven’t liked that you are trying to get rid of. For example, my fiancé and I tried to give mine Stella and chewy/tiki cat pates, but perhaps because it’s not as flavorful he doesn’t like them. So I mix a little with the wellness core packet and usually it helps! I highly recommend this for cats under 1!
