**Q: Is this lens good for portrait photograph?**
A: A 1.8 f stop prime would be ideal but this is very good

**Q: how is  this lens compared to the kit lens in term of image quality?**
A: Depends on the kit lens. If it is the Zeiss 24 - 70 mm f/4 it is vastly superior. Faster, sharper and autofocus is much better. Compared to the Sony 24 - 105 f/4, it is comparable but faster with the proviso that the wide angle lens is reduce (28 v 24) otherwise I prefer this lens. It is a nice alternative to the Sony 24 - 70 f/2.8 at a much nicer price.

**Q: Does this lens work with the full frame a7siii?**
A: Yes the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 works with the Sony A7siii.

**Q: does it compatible with 6400?**
A: If it’s an e mount then it’s compatible and it’s also compatible with any e mount camera. Just keep in mind that since the a6400 is a crop sensor you’ll get a crop in the lens
