Review: Closest shave for the money! - I've been using an electric shaver daily for about 45 years. This just might be the best shaver I've come across within those 45 years. It provides an extremely close shave without having to do multiple passes. I feel so clean after shaving with this razor. Although, I will say it shaves so close to the skin that I could see it being an issue for those with sensitive skin, whom may experience razor burn. The battery life goes on for weeks, and the creative stamped design is truly impressive! It's very sturdy and well built with care. **Q: How do i choose between this ufree shaver and andis and wahl?**
A: I guess that’s a personal question. I like both of the well known brands you listed. I bought this razor out of curiosity, and I LOVE it. It’s great for stubble. Obviously using this razor for hair longer than stubble is more for clippers rather than a foil shaver.

**Q: Is this shaver fit for African-American men?**
A: I learned that every African American has a different beard. But if you have flat-lying, coarse, curly beard, that probably won't work very well for you. I suggest you use another razor to cut it short first. This won’t give you as smooth a shave as a razor, but it significantly reduces skin irritation possibilities that lead to ingrown hair and bumps.

**Q: Is this good enough for a long, thick beard? Or do you have to trim with another razor before you use this one?**
A: Depending on how long your hair is, ideally it will shave less than 1/25" of your stubble. If it's too long it won't work for you, which is the nature of a reciprocating razor. It is specially designed for shaving stubble and is recommended to be repaired every 1 to 2 days for better results.

**Q: Can I use this to shave my head?**
A: Yes, the foil shaver can work on your head. Just make sure you get your hair cut as short as possible before you use.

This is a great tool for barbers annd hairstylists like me and a good value for the price! The shave this thing gets is really close as if you did a straight razor but you didn’t which is really nice for cosmetologists that can’t use a straight razor but want to get baby smooth skin on their haircuts and beard trims! I love the design on the gold handle it’s so pretty and looks almost antique! It has a top that fits onto it and it can be sanitized with clipper spray between clients.
