Review: Great cooked texture and taste - Really enjoy these groats. They can work for breakfast or savory as a sub for rice. I followed someone else's suggestion for cooking, I use 3 cups liquid to 1 cup groats, bring it to a boil and then simmer uncovered for an hour. They absorb all the liquid and have a nice soft, but still chewy texture. They arrived sealed nicely with no issues. I cooked with blueberries this last time and they came out delicious.

I have been purchasing Gf Harvest oat groats for the past four years and have observed a change in their quality. It appears the grain is being sold unpeeled, with the skin still covering it, which may pose safety and taste concerns. Consistency and quality are important factors for maintaining customer satisfaction. I am very disappointed about you r product.
