**Q: can this part be used on the mongoose big tire back rim?**
A: This cassette can be used in any bike with a 7 speed drivetrain (7 heard in back).  The size of the tire and manufacturers of the bike don't matter.  The only other concern is if your bike has a cassette or a free wheel.  This part will only

**Q: Is this product freewheel?**
A: The picture of the "sprocket assembly" shown on Amazon is a cassette.  A freewheel screws onto the bike hub and the freewheel is built into the sprocket assembly.  In a cassette the freewheel is built into the bike hub.

**Q: Will this work on a genesis v2100?**
A: I've looked at the specifications and the photos for the genesis v2100 mountain bike.  Since your bike is a 21 speed bike with Shimano parts and it's a triple front chain set, it would need a 7 speed rear cluster,  I would think that this would work.  But I don't know for sure.   The best I can recommend is that you buy one and compare to what you have.   If it looks similar in cog size and range, my best guess is that it would work since Shimano parts tend to work with other Shimano parts.  I have several bikes with Shimano parts and this has always been the case.  It's one of the reasons why I use them.   I hope this helps.

**Q: Does this fit with 42-34-24 crank set?**
A: This is a cassette that is attached to the rear wheel.  It can work with many crank sets which may require the drive chain to be lengthened or shortened.
