After 2 nights sleeping iin my yard, day/night 3 was a large storm. 3 inches of rain and 50 mph gusts. I did use 6 guylines and a Tyvek ground cloth, plus a few extra heavy tent pegs due to soggy ground. I also put my sleeping bag away, just in case. The morning after, I was surprised it was still there... Lol. When the rain let up, I looked inside, no leaks... None. I had closed the 2 vents and did notice the Tyvek had moved from under the tent a bit from the force of the wind. Great value, a bit heavy for backpacking, a few stray threads and probably shoulda gotten the bigger one, since car camping will be the primary use.
