Professor Sauernoggin, inventor of Toxic Waste Sour Candy, lives in Rhubarb Crossing and teaches Applied Sourology at a small college. Most faculty find his work unclear, dubbing him “that crazy, taste-bud fellow.” In his secret cellar lab, Sauernoggin experiments with chemicals to turn toxic waste into useful products. A good-natured, child-like man, he is easily distracted, intuitively brilliant, and unusually lucky.
Mr. Toxie Head is Sauernoggin’s alter ego, born from a bizarre accident when he drank toxic waste instead of coffee. The chemical reaction transformed him into a human fireball, an anthropomorphic mushroom cloud. The change was temporary, and once it wore off, Sauernoggin distilled the substance into a formula. Now, a sip of the potion turns him into Mr. Toxie Head, a hero defending the environment.
Hazmat is Sauernoggin’s pet rat, once a mild-mannered, brainy rodent aspiring to be a scientist. After his untimely death at the hands of Sauernoggin’s wife, Brunhilda, the professor revived him with bionic implants. Now equipped with a zoom-lens eye and telescoping antenna, Hazmat serves as a secret agent, monitoring Dr. Smogg. However, his quirky new personality and tendency to short out at inopportune times complicate his mission.
Smogg is an Environmental Super Villain and former industrialist who profited from toxic manufacturing. After shifting to illegal landfills, he now secretly buys properties to store pollutants. He appears as a prosperous, upstanding community member, living in an Art Moderne mansion and driving a vintage Duesenberg. However, his pale, bald appearance, pronounced stoop, sneer, and red-rimmed eyes reveal his true nature.

**Q: How large are these?  I just purchased a candy dispenser that takes 0.62 inch gumballs, candy or nuts.  Will these fit?**
A: Smog balls are round little balls. I don’t know the size but each one is not that size you mentioned. They are smaller-maybe 2-3 of them would equal an inch. Hope that helps.

**Q: what the kind candy?**
A: A hard shelled round candy similar to a spree with extremely sour Center

**Q: Is it like chewing Gum?**
A: Nope, crunchy outside, chewy inside but not gum kinda like a crunchy coated jelly bean. Pretty good, not as sour as I’d like though. Hope it helps!

These things are absolutely gnarly. I love them. I like sour candy a lot, and I have eaten the toxic waste barrels candy from the same company. Those were similar to warheads but I found the warheads flavors were better, however the toxic waste barrels were more sour. I first bought these at a local candy store a few months back. These are unusual because the outside of the candy is hard and sweet, similar to a skittle but round, and the inside part is chewy and face squirmingly sour! Normally, sour candy is sour on the outside and sweet on the inside. They are so acidic I am surprised there is not a warning label. I like the pink ones the best, i think they are strawberry flavored. I like the lemon ones the least, they are a little too bitter rather than sour. And the blue ones are just weird, as with any blue candy. Also, the candy shell doesn't crunch on the blue ones like the rest of them. It has something to do with the blue dye they use to color it probably. The whole thing is kind of chewy. If you eat a half a bag of these, you will get a blister on the side of your mouth that you were eating them on. If you eat an entire bag, your cheek will be bleeding. This candy is seriously caustic! So after I bloodied my mouth on a bag of these I decided I should probably have access to a steady supply. I found the 12 pack on amazon, stoked! Much cheaper than buying one bag at a time from the local candy store. I gave a few bags away but have already gone through the rest. I am about ready to re-up. My cheek is twinging just thinking about them! Also, they just came in a plastic baggie, the display cardboard was not included with my order. So be weary if you are purchasing these to resell at a store, you may not get the display box that is pictured, I did not, but this does not affect my review of the product.

Yeah get these cuz they are the best candy I've had for a while, they leave a wonderful black mark on my tongue either due to the dye or the sourness but GOODNESS are they SOUR or WHAT (they're sour) and I love them so.
