**Q: Can I buy a mattress to put in the bassinet for a newborn? Which mattress is compatible?**
A: YES! the colgate 15 x 30 in oval mattress fits well, bunches a little on the sides but LEAVES NO GAPS so very safe. I use the 13 x 30 terry covers to put baby on. Found both on amazon. Can't feel the buckles through mattress, even if buckled together.
