The edges are all sanded smooth, very well finished, and completely lovely. I have never, ever purchased a piece of furniture that came in a box and had to be put together that looked like this. The quality is some of the best I have ever seen. I was really stunned by this shower chair. I ordered it for my mother in law, who needs to sit while being showered. I didn't want to go with a medical shower chair, I wanted something nice that looked good and maintained her dignity. This does it. It is like a piece of fine furniture. The main reason we chose this chair was because of the adjustable rubber feet on it. We have a river rock floor in our shower, so I wanted something that would be really stable. The little feet on this roll out quit nicely, and it is very stable. I am so pleased with this purchase. I will be purchasing from this company in the future. Put product together and it looks great and looks great in the new shower. Comfortable to sit as well as perfect height to shave legs! Water beads off well. Have only had it for 2 weeks but so far love it and would reorder from the buyer again.
