Toe goes to end of toe box but not in a too small way. I have a higher arch and found the footbed surprisingly supportive. Ended up keeping them on for several hours because they felt so good to wear. Did notice minor imperfections others described that could be mistaken for previous wear but the soles were flawless and unmarked. Think any little color changes are the nature of the materials.
