I've used one model for personal use for the past 5 years and purchased another one for my office computer.Aside from the left and right buttons, there is are additional buttons that increase the versatility and usability of this mouse. One button is to increase the DPI of the mouse (cursor speed), and the other two act as the back/forward page buttons. I love these features and find them very beneficial for working in an office environment, digital publishing and general web browsing. I don't think these would really impact gaming more than it does for basic computing.I have used this mouse on both a Mac and Windows systems and believe it works better with Windows. On Mac, there is an inconsistency with the mouse disconnecting for some reason upon sign out & locked screen (even with it being corded), and I am constantly unplugging it and plugging it back in to get it to work. The back/forward buttons are not responsive on the Safari browser, however, the mickey speed button does work.If you purchase this mouse, Windows is the best system for this mouse and will increase productivity and computing comfortability. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really helped with hand pains *by D***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 November 2024* Great mouse, reasonably priced. I bought an upright mouse as I was finding that my hand was getting strained and painful using a normal pointer device.It's certainly helped with that, and it's generally comfortable to use.
