Just thread the shoulder portion of the seatbelt through it. For 28" and larger, there are tiedowns at the bottom of the kennel that require a rope to be run through it and then secured. That is typically more for truckbed or back of SUV use. **Q: Does the 24in come with screws?** A: Yes, plastic tabs with metal screw fastners. We have bought that for our pet to travel internationally but when we received it was broken and there was no option to change it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ lightweight and durable *by L***A on 2 October 2024* I bought these before and they improved the screw nuts so it is easier to turn the nut on the screw. This has thinner plastic than the ones I bought years ago and the holes on the sides are larger and ovular.
