Review: Exceptionally versatile and useful for serviceman - Definitely worth owning if you want a single tool for multiple uses like most repairman/service persons do. Because they're approx twice the price of the Channelock pliers that I have (& really like) & most other pliers, the Value for Money seems a bit steep. That said, they're also taking the place of about 4-5 individual tools, so they're actually good value when you look at it that way. On the actual tool, I like it. A lot. Good sturdy German build feel about it. Nice grips, positive action. Only thing I don't enjoy about this set, is being the spring loaded set, they're constantly trying to open which gets in the way in my toolbox, pocket etc. The locking nib needs another step so they can be locked completely shut. But I fixed that myself thus far with fitting a velcro strap to the handle. Overall, as I expected, def worth having in your pocket/toolbar. Saves multiple tools, comfortable, nice smooth action, good quality. You get what you pay for, & at this price you're paying for darn good quality. ## Features - 6 functions in one pair of pliers - Multifunctional pliers for the electrical installation - To grip flat and round material, for bending, deburring, cutting cable, stripping and crimping wire ferrules - Smooth surfaces near the tips grip single cores without damaging them - Serrated gripping surfaces and pipe grip for gripping flat and round material.Models with opening spring in the joint, the activated locking lever keeps the cutting edges closed while other functions remain active.Handles insulated with multi-component grips.6 functions in one pair of pliers ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B007C1O9QQ | | Best Sellers Rank | #101,683 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #58 in Engineers Pliers | | Brand | KNIPEX | | Brand Name | KNIPEX | | Color | Chrome-plated | | Colour | Chrome-plated | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 779 Reviews | | Cutting width | 19 Millimeters | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04003773075325 | | Grip Type | Ergonomic | | Handle Material | Aluminum | | Handle material | Aluminum | | Included Components | Pliers | | Item Dimensions L x W | 25.5L x 8.5W centimeters | | Item Type Name | Insulated Pliers | | Item Weight | 0.31 Kilograms | | Item weight | 0.31 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Knipex | | Manufacturer Part Number | 13 96 200 SB | | Material | other | | Material Type | other | | Model Number | 13 96 200 SB | | Product dimensions | 25.5L x 8.5W centimeters | | Set Name | Single Pair | | Specific Uses For Product | Electrical | | Specification Met | VDE | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** KNIPEX - **Colour:** Chrome-plated - **Handle material:** Aluminum - **Material:** other - **Product dimensions:** 25.5L x 8.5W centimeters ## Images ![Knipex KPX1396200 Insulated Pliers, VDE grips + Sprung - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51bzbxWtsJL.jpg) ![Knipex KPX1396200 Insulated Pliers, VDE grips + Sprung - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51nx58pRFFL.jpg) ![Knipex KPX1396200 Insulated Pliers, VDE grips + Sprung - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61cAxpVg7QL.jpg) ![Knipex KPX1396200 Insulated Pliers, VDE grips + Sprung - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51N6VneEpbL.jpg) ![Knipex KPX1396200 Insulated Pliers, VDE grips + Sprung - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/519BP2CgTQL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Otro gran producto Knipex *by C***S on 22 January 2023* Lo dicho, otro gran producto Knipex de calidad, precio elevado pero vale la pena su compra. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptionally versatile and useful for serviceman *by B***H on 1 November 2019* Definitely worth owning if you want a single tool for multiple uses like most repairman/service persons do.
