I find it very suspicious when companies claim to be more natural, but don’t provide an ingredient list. Would lo** A: Don’t worry we have been using their products for two years and the detergent and softener are outstanding. Clothes are clean and smell great! **Q: I have an old-school, non he washer. how many large load can i expect to get out of a bottle?** A: depends on how concentrated you want the smell to be. I use non scented laundry detergent along with this to minimize how much i use **Q: What does it smell like?** A: It smells like a light men's Cologne but not overpowering. **Q: How do you close the bottle? it says rotate to stop but I can’t see to make it work.** A: I'm not sure you will like this answer but let me give it a shot. You will have to push the pump back down and then turn it into the cap as it engages with the grooves that you will see just below the spout. Unfortunately when you do that you will undoubtedly loose a portion of the detergent because you have pumped it out by pushing the spout down to engage the grooves. I suppose you could pump it into your wash and then keep it down as you twist it into the cap so you do not lose the very valuable liquid. On the other hand, as long as you keep it upright on a shelf or table, why would you want to close the bottle? By design, the pump itself is self sealing until you pump it out. I even went all in with the detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets. The scent was rich, earthy, and genuinely unique. Unfortunately, they changed the formula—and in doing so, the scent changed too. It’s now pretty generic and doesn’t have that same depth or appeal. I’m assuming the change wasn’t intentional, but either way, it took away what made Cedar Grove so special. In my search for something similar, I came across Loaded’s Sandalwood & Vanilla detergent—and it smells almost exactly like what Cedar Grove used to be, at least the parts I loved most. On top of that, you get more detergent for a similar price, and the quality is absolutely there. At this point, I’ll be sticking with Loaded.
