Easy to open - can even open one-handed. Will work on pairs of doors with either knobs or handles and I love the fact that the design doesn't require sticking any adhesive to the cabinets that could cause damage. One thing to note is that there does seem to be a "directionality" to the piece that slides on - in my experience it works best if the "lock" icons on the sliding piece are facing inward instead of outward (that may be confusing if you haven't purchased yet but it will make perfect sense once you have one in your hands). They’re easy to put on and remove. I originally wanted the latches you placed inside the cabinets with adhesive or screws but wouldn’t work because of the type of cabinets we have.
