Review: Works great if your hands are lower than your elbows when you type - The pads were a bit odorous when they arrived but a quick airing-out in the outdoors solved the issue. The pads add some comfort but have reduced value for my purposes--I type with my chair below my desk height, so my hands are slightly higher than my elbows. As a result, there isn't much room between the edge of my desk and the keyboards, so I couldn't use them without altering how I sit. For the time that I did adapt my seating position to fit the desired usage pattern: they worked great. I would definitely recommend them if you have the room to use them and it fits your typing style.

**Q: Will these fit the Ergodox-EZ?**
A: Yes, I use them with the Ergodox-EZ. They are the same dimensions and fit perfectly.

**Q: will these fit hot dox keyboard (another variant of ergo dox)?**
A: They will, I used them on a hot dox prior to returning them for a wooden set.
As to other variants I do not know.

**Q: Are these cushioned with some type of foam, or are they solid like the ones that come with the Ergodox EZ?**
A: I have both this wrist pad and the Ergodox. The Ergodox is pure solid. The material in the Grifiti is not that solid. Indeed it's some kind of foam but not mushy. I find them sturdy and comfortable. I hope it helps.

The pads were a bit odorous when they arrived but a quick airing-out in the outdoors solved the issue. The pads add some comfort but have reduced value for my purposes--I type with my chair below my desk height, so my hands are slightly higher than my elbows. As a result, there isn't much room between the edge of my desk and the keyboards, so I couldn't use them without altering how I sit. For the time that I did adapt my seating position to fit the desired usage pattern: they worked great. I would definitely recommend them if you have the room to use them and it fits your typing style.
